New baby at home? Well, that is an adventure. I still remember the day we brought Alicia home. It was an exciting but at the same time scary feeling. Many questions start to go around your head. What am I going to do? am I going to be able to do this? what about if they cry? are they hungry? are they sick? and you just wonder how are you going to make this possible! Well, my beautiful soul! you are not alone, all of us have been through the same situation and we did it. No matter what, we did it. IN A DIFFERENT WAY each of us but we did it! In this blog, I want to share my personal experience and 10 things you need to know about bringing your NEWBORN home! 1. Leaving the Hospital to bring your NEWBORN home! When you are a new mom, you tend to bring a lot of clothing to the hospital for the baby for the trip home. Let me tell you: you don’t need all of that! Dress your baby as how you would dress. Don’t overdress your baby, they will feel very uncomfortable. In conclusion, if you want a happy and calm baby, dress him accordingly, not too much, not too little πŸ™‚ 2. Taking the Baby to the car! Don’t forget your Car seat! it is vital, and the hospital won’t let you leave without first checking the car seat. And, that makes a lot of sense, #SAFETYFIRST. 37% of all children under the age of 15 who died in car crashes in 2020 were unrestrained.1  Studies suggest that children are between 54% (toddlers) and 71% (infants) less likely to sustain a fatal injury if they’re secured in a properly installed car seat. Car Crash Stats So, please be very careful and do your research before purchasing your car seat. In my experience, I purchased the MESA Uppababy because it was compatible with my stroller as well and to be honest my baby was super comfortable 3. Getting Home with your NEWBORN! A mix of feelings… and it all depends if you live by yourself, with your partner, or if you have family around you to support you. In my case, I live in the United States and my Family lives in Colombia, my mom came for a couple of months before Covid hit! and it was okay, postpartum can be traumatizing and I am not going to lie, there are a lot of things crossing your mind. You just pulled a baby out of your body. Here you need to be at least very conscious that your priority is your baby, they depend on you to survive. Your house will be a mess for a couple of weeks. So have handy diapers, wipes, etc (and when I said handy I mean in the living room, kitchen, everywhere! please don’t mind the disaster! again focus on your baby) 4. Family and Friends visiting you and your NEWBORN! Try to limit the number of visits you have. At least for a couple of weeks. Even though it is a crazy stage remember that everything will pass In a blink of an eye, so enjoy a little bit of everything. Here is my baby just about to leave the hospital!

When my baby was born, I pack a lot of new cloths for her, of course I wanted to dress my baby super pretty and oh gosh, she pooped all over herself. So, next I had to change her all over again. (and let me tell you that was a whole new process as well)

In conclusion, if you want a happy and calm baby, dress him accordingly, not too much, not too little πŸ™‚

Car Crash Stats

So, please be very careful and do your research before purchasing your car seat. In my experience, I purchased the MESA Uppababy because it was compatible with my stroller as well and to be honest my baby was super comfortable

So have handy diapers, wipes, etc (and when I said handy I mean in the living room, kitchen, everywhere! please don’t mind the disaster! again focus on your baby)

4. Family and Friends visiting you and your NEWBORN!

Try to limit the number of visits you have. At least for a couple of weeks.

  1. To protect your baby from any outside virus
  2. You have enough things to worry about now with your newborn, you don’t need to worry about anything else or having visitors. Try to talk to them and ask for a little space while you settle down.

Even though it is a crazy stage remember that everything will pass In a blink of an eye, so enjoy a little bit of everything.

Here is my baby just about to leave the hospital!

12 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE PREGNANCY IN 2023 https://notafitmom.com/12-things-you-need-to-know-before-pregnancy/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=12-things-you-need-to-know-before-pregnancy Fri, 19 Mar 2021 16:45:00 +0000 https://notafitmom.com/?p=516 Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt USD2022487910 ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Hello Pretty!!!! Today I want to tell you 12 Things I Wish I Had Known Before Pregnancy. All about my experience in pregnancy and everything that I have been able to experience in this process! First of all, I want you to know that this is my experience and each woman lives it in a completely different way. But what I can say is that my baby is the best thing that ever happened to me. Sooooo, Let’s get started! Before being pregnant, you can hear how other moms talk about how beautiful and magical is to be pregnant! I can say that they were 50% right! BECAUSE! It is true! you are forming a human being within yourself and I think that that is something incredible! no doubt it.  But, nobody, nobody girl! tells you what you’re going to go through. When I was young, I thought Pregnancy was about having a big belly, getting fat, having vomiting and dizziness, and pain in childbirth. For me, that was being pregnant!  But I was super duper wrong! Ladies and gentlemen! Let me tell you! That’s not the only thing about being pregnant. Being pregnant is much more tan vomiting and dizziness. And many moms out there don’t tell you otherwise, for fear of what other people could say about them, because they don’t want to feel judged for not being grateful.  I have to be honest with you, apart from being a blessing, it also brings a lot of pain and illness. And you have to be prepared because every time you have any sort of pain your doctor will tell you that everything is normal and they can’t prescribe you ANYTHING! Now I am going to summarize 12 Things that I Wish I would Know Before Pregnancy and how to overcome most of them: 1. Breast Pain:  For the First 3 months, the pain in the breast is horrible. It seems that you are going to explode! For that, I used warm water compresses to relieve the pain and it worked!  The breasts felt lighter after putting on the pads. Bonus Tip: Those Pads are not a waste of money! you are going to need a pair of those when you start breastfeeding!! 2. Dizziness and Vomit in Pregnancy: Dizziness and vomiting are hard but are so common in pregnancy. When you brush your teeth in the morning you think you are going to throw up everything!  For this problem, I can recommend to you the following products that helped me a lot: Earth Mama Organic Morning Wellness Tea  Pink Stork Morning Sickness Sweets Pink Stork Nausea Support: Morning Sickness Relief for Pregnant Women 3. Sleepy and tired: That is super normal. Feeling exhausted and fatigued while pregnant is okay because your body is working so hard to create a baby! Just cheer up and continue with your activities even if you look like a zombie! lol Pregnancy provokes a lack of sleep and makes it hard to function! I used to drink a cup of this tea, every night! and it helped me to sleep so much better. it is super yummy!!! Highly recommend! 4. Frequent Urination:  The constant urge to urinate is incredible and increases even more in the last months due to the pressure of the baby. 5. Risk of urinary infection or Cystitis in Pregnancy: I got this infection when I was 5 months old. it was 3 am and I had so much pain. I went to the bathroom and I couldn’t pee. it was so painful, I can’t describe it. My husband went to CVS at that time to buy me Cranberry Juice because I knew I could drink that and it will help me. I invite you to read my post about How to Deal with Cystitis while Pregnant, which has more tips on how to overcome this infection.  6. The Sciatic Nerve in Pregnancy: Something called the Sciatic Nerve! If you are not a mom (yet) and don’t have anything to do with the Health Industry, this term will surprise you as much as it did to me. I have never heard of it! And it’s called SCIATIC NERVE! It is a pain that starts in the hip, and sometimes it does not even let you move, it is like an intense cramp. 7. Cramps: Talking about cramps, this one is very famous in pregnancy. Foot cramps in the middle of the night. You have never felt a cramp-like this, I swear!. The muscle contracts horribly. It happened to me every time I stretched!! Well, I knew when it was going to happen to me, so didn’t feel the satisfaction of stretching for 5 months of pregnancy lol  The best tip for this problem is to give a massage in the affected area and it will ease. AND ALSO try to eat a lot of bananas! it is a good source of potassium and also contains magnesium and calcium. And basically, you need those nutrients to ease muscle cramps. Funny Note: The first time it happened to me, I yelled super loud and my husband was super scared. lol. He did a little massage and it was over. 8. Rib Pain: As time goes by, the baby needs more and more space and the uterus has to grow. Because of that, I got a hurtful pain in a rib! You have no idea! It felt like a broken rib without having suffered a blow. You can’t even take a deep breath. It was so painful. 9.The way you sleep changes in Pregnancy: That would never be the same! At least for the upcoming two years (if you are going to breastfeed) The more advanced in the pregnancy, the more difficult it becomes!  For example, I heard: 10. The flu If you get the flu, you are carried away because you cannot take any medicine. Neither the home remedies included honey, ginger, or cinnamon because those are very hot for the baby (and can harm the baby). So, endure the discomfort!  11. Heartburn You will get horrible heartburn !! It seems that it goes from the chest to the back! Some people say it is because the baby is going to have a lot of hair !!! Well, you better! LOL. I suggest you taking Pink Stork Heartburn Tea to ease the heartburn 12. Rhinitis from pregnancy Is that a thing? Yes, it is, and only 10% of pregnant women it, and guess what? I got! LOL. For those of us who have never suffered from rhinitis, it means that your nose gets stuffy, especially here in Boston, in the winter season, the heating doesn’t help much and doesn’t let you breathe.  It usually happens at night and It becomes more difficult to fall asleep. It is hard because through sleep you give your baby oxygen and that is why you must sleep well!  For this I got the perfect tip: I recommend you boil water and put a little bit of eucalyptus and inhale the steam. Do this before you go to bed and you will feel much better afterward. Also: For constipation I used to take the following: These products also support Gut health, Relieve cramps, and provides natural relief. My favorite Prenatal: These were gummies and I really loved them. I used to have pills but my body did not assimilate them well. So, I changed for gummies and it was a GAME CHANGER. The Pink Stork (as they said, they are not sponsoring me in this post, I just truly love these products) has this wonderful bundle that I highly recommend because it has the essentials to survive while pregnant: AND SO ON! It is a lot to take when you are pregnant and you think that is unstoppable. But my friend, let me tell you: it gets better! don’t worry about tomorrow, live the present and enjoy that belly and the baby that is inside. Everything will pass and your baby will bring so much joy to your life.  At the time, when I was going through all of that I thought childbirth was going to be nothing compared to everything I had experienced. (It wasn’t, but I am going to dedicate a post specially to when I deliver my baby) But people say being pregnant is not a disease, well that was the sickest 9 months of my life. As I said at the beginning of the post, every mom life this experience in a completely different way. I wanted to congratulate those moms that didn’t feel anything while pregnant! But I prefer to tell the next moms everything that has happened to me so that they can get ready! Anyways it was a super nice stage! So wonderful that I would not change anything.  Well, friends, I hope this post has been very useful for you. I invite you to read my post about How to Deal with Cystitis while Pregnant, which has more tips on how to overcome this infection.

6. The Sciatic Nerve in Pregnancy:

Something called the Sciatic Nerve!

7. Cramps:

Talking about cramps, this one is very famous in pregnancy. Foot cramps in the middle of the night. You have never felt a cramp-like this, I swear!. The muscle contracts horribly. It happened to me every time I stretched!! Well, I knew when it was going to happen to me, so didn’t feel the satisfaction of stretching for 5 months of pregnancy lol

The best tip for this problem is to give a massage in the affected area and it will ease.

8. Rib Pain:

As time goes by, the baby needs more and more space and the uterus has to grow. Because of that, I got a hurtful pain in a rib! You have no idea! It felt like a broken rib without having suffered a blow. You can’t even take a deep breath. It was so painful.

9.The way you sleep changes in Pregnancy:

That would never be the same! At least for the upcoming two years (if you are going to breastfeed) The more advanced in the pregnancy, the more difficult it becomes!

For example, I heard:

  • that you can’t sleep on the right side because the oxygen does not reach the baby well.
  • You cannot sleep on your stomach because of the obvious belly.
  • that you can’t sleep on your back because you’re drowning and coughing up (it’s true) then your only choice is your left side.
  • The left side will be your best side for the last few months. But if you get rib pain like me on that side you’re screwed!

10. The flu

If you get the flu, you are carried away because you cannot take any medicine. Neither the home remedies included honey, ginger, or cinnamon because those are very hot for the baby (and can harm the baby). So, endure the discomfort!

11. Heartburn

You will get horrible heartburn !! It seems that it goes from the chest to the back! Some people say it is because the baby is going to have a lot of hair !!! Well, you better! LOL.

12. Rhinitis from pregnancy

Is that a thing?

Also:

  • Be careful with adding too much salt to foods because it will make you retain fluids…
  • Be careful with sweets so that you do not get gestational diabetes either preeclampsia…
  • Remember your daily dose of prenatal pills...
  • if you get anemia you need to take additional vitamins (like iron which can make you constipated) so that you do not have to get a blood transfusion
  • If your hair falls out is normal (even if you are going bald)…

For constipation I used to take the following:

These products also support Gut health, Relieve cramps, and provides natural relief.

My favorite Prenatal:

These were gummies and I really loved them. I used to have pills but my body did not assimilate them well. So, I changed for gummies and it was a GAME CHANGER.

The Pink Stork (as they said, they are not sponsoring me in this post, I just truly love these products) has this wonderful bundle that I highly recommend because it has the essentials to survive while pregnant:

AND SO ON!

(It wasn’t, but I am going to dedicate a post specially to when I deliver my baby)

But people say being pregnant is not a disease, well that was the sickest 9 months of my life.

MATERNITY LEAVE IN BOSTON by LAW BENEFITS https://notafitmom.com/maternity-leave-boston/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=maternity-leave-boston Tue, 16 Mar 2021 18:53:00 +0000 https://notafitmom.com/?p=6 Hello, Hello Honey boo!!!! πŸ‘‹ If you are reading this post, it is because you are going to be a mother or father and you want to know How Maternity Leave works, How Long is Maternity, How is the Law for Maternity Leave, and all that stuff you need to know before you leave work! I have some tips that you can implement BEFORE you leave work for your Paternity Leave.  Read until the end so that you know what are the rights and duties of every mother and father who is expecting a baby in Boston! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ This is my first time as being a mom 🀰🏻 so I had to read too much and do a lot of research to know everything about this topic!! That’s why I wanted to create this post to explain to you in simple words how Maternity leave in Boston works.  What is Maternity Leave?  Why Maternity Leave Laws is different in every state? How does Maternity Leave work in Boston, MA? What is PFML? What is FMLA? Difference Between PFML and FMLA Short Term Disability  What is Short Term Disability? Can I get Short Term Disability? How does Short Term Disability work for Maternity Leave? How much does Short Term Disability cover? Is my job protected while I am out on Short Term Disability? Can I use Short Term Disability and FMLA at the same time?  What is Maternity Leave? Firstly, it is important to know that Maternity Leave is a period that the MOM and sometimes the DAD, can get to take off once the baby is born or adopted. This time is the most important time to bond with the baby.  Why Maternity Leave Laws are different in every state? In every single state within the United States, Maternity leave laws work differently. For example:  Payment: In some states, the employer needs to pay the employee the maternity leave period, in other states, they are not obligated to do so.  Time: In some states, the time that the employer gives you for your Maternity Leave depends on the company you work for and they can give you from 8 weeks to 6 months or 1 year paid or unpaid. However, For those who do not live in the States, they could ask themselves: “So, how do mothers survive 8 or 12 weeks without getting paid? I also ask myself the same question !!! Because you have to keep eating, you have to go to medical appointments, you have to keep paying rent or mortgage !!! 🀨 The answer is: It is not easy but laws are laws! πŸ˜’ SOOOO WEIRD and UNFAIR I know! Author note: “For me, in an ideal world, maternity leave should be paid in full for AT LEAST 12 months” Now that I have my baby I can realize how important is to be with your baby for that time. But, I also realize that money is important to survive alone with your baby and your family.” How does Maternity Leave work in Boston, MA? OK, Honey Boo! Because I leave in Boston, I am going to explain to you how this works in Massachusetts, which is where I live and where I have done the research. Before 2021, The law said that if the company you work for has less than 50 employees, you could get up to 8 weeks of unpaid maternity. If the company has more than 50 employees you could get up to 12 weeks and they are still NOT paid. To get these “benefits” you needed to have a certain time of hours in the company.  Now everything has changed. Thank goodness πŸ™ŒπŸ» What is Paid Family Medical Leave? #PFML PFML stands for Paid Family Medical Leave and it can give anyone who works in Massachusetts and is eligible to take up to 26 weeks of paid leave for medical or family reasons. YOU ARE PAYING FOR THIS SINCE MARCH 2019 (it is just a small amount taken from your paycheck (0.75%) but it is super beneficial) πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ Yay sweetheart, You hear well❗️It is super beneficial!! What is Family Medical Leave Act? #FMLA FMLA stands for Family Medical Leave Act and provides up to 12 weeks of job-protected, UNPAID! for every year to take care of the family (MATERNITY LEAVE) or for Medical Reasons. Difference Between PFML and FMLA It is important to understand the Difference between PFML and FMLA if you are going out for Maternity Leave because you need to know what is more beneficial for you. Paid Family and Medical Leave Act (PFML) and the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) are separate laws that cover similar situations (in our case MATERNITY LEAVE) Even employers who are exempt from FMLA may be subject to PFML. In both cases, they need to hold your job until your return. However, FMLA is free, you don’t pay a penny for it and you are entitled to take up to 12 to 26 weeks of UNPAID absence. On the other hand, PFML is not free, you need to pay a super small portion out of your paycheck en you are entitled to take up to 12 to 26 weeks of PAID leave. Short Term Disability for Maternity Leave Read this part very carefully as you can get the best out of your Maternity Leave.  Some companies have insurance called Short Term disability and they have their policy for this. They are those who determine whether you are eligible for the benefits  – What is Short Term Disability? Maternity Leave It is insurance that covers you economically speaking when you are unable to attend work for a short period for any reason after you have exhausted your sick time. You may receive this for between 9-52 weeks, depending on your company. ANDDDD Here is where Maternity Leave takes place!!! Every paycheck you contribute with a super small percentage but when you get pregnant it would be too big a benefit! – How can I get Short Term Disability for my Maternity Leave? Some employers offer Short Term Disability and you can get it through them. They make it Mandatory for all the employees whether it is needed or not. Some employers offer Short Term Disability as an Optional plan and you can sign up for it and pay it in full or your employer might cover some portion.  As an Individual, you can get a Short Term Disability on your own. Just look up all the vendors who offer this insurance.  Depending on the state, the law can cover you. You just need to meet some requirements (Not applicable to Massachusets) – How does Short Term Disability work for Maternity Leave? First, you must have registered and been contributing to this insurance at least 10 months before having your baby, by saying that, we understand that you cannot wait to get pregnant and start contributing because it would not cover you.  – How much does Short Term Disability cover? This insurance covers up to 60% of your salary πŸ’΅ while you are on Maternity Leave. Remember to refer to your company’s policies.  – Is my job protected while I am out on Short Term Disability? There are 2 different things that you need to understand here.  While you are out on Short Term Disability, the employer is not required to keep your job. While you are out on FMLA (Which by the law is the 8 to 12 weeks period that you are entitled to get when on Maternity Leave, whether paid or not) the employer is required to keep your job. – Can I use Short Term Disability and FMLA at the same time?  You would need to talk to your employer to see which one you can use first. But surely, you can! In conclusion, I personally love this “NEW MATERNITY LEAVE LAW” It didn’t cover me when I had my baby. But, I am so happy for all these new moms that can take advantage of this and don’t have to leave their babies too soon to continue working and to be able to keep generating income for their households.  Anyhoo! This is my first time as being a mom 🀰🏻 so I had to read too much and do a lot of research to know everything about this topic!! That’s why I wanted to create this post to explain to you in simple words how Maternity leave in Boston works.

This monitor has been called the TESLA of the BABY MONITORS… Let’s find out why! Read until the end so you don’t miss any single detail about this product !!! What is Nanit? Accessibility High-definition video and night vision Two-way audio channels The temperature of the Room Sleep Tracker Breathing monitor Pricing Installation My husband and I have been doing arduous research on trying to find the Best Baby Monitor, because it is something too important for us and in which we wanted to invest since it gives us security, obviously not 100%. But, YES! it does give us a high degree of peace of mind. Having a good product that you can trust and can help you check your baby at all times is SO important and that’s when we found NANIT BABY MONITOR. This product has several features and benefits that allowed us to decide to buy it. FULL REVIEW OF THE Nanit Plus Smart Baby Monitor What is NANIT? According to their website, Nanit is “The only baby monitor you’ll need. Nanit puts your baby’s development first, with sleep analysis, personalized tips, & immediate alerts – all while giving you the best view of your baby.“ It combines the latest technology to become the world’s smartest baby monitor. it keeps you in tune with your baby’s well-being, including sleep, breathing motion, and growth, while saving every milestone along the way. One of the most important reasons is that it was awarded as one of the best cameras of 2019 among all monitor babies I have spent over a year with this monitor and I consider it the Best Baby Monitor. No need to compare it to others. It was love at first sight. Let’s see why: 1. Accessibility You know that I live in Boston and my whole family lives in Colombia, so I wanted this product to have an app, that allows us to see the baby from anywhere in the world. This device allows you to access up to 10 cell phones to see the baby. Which I think is great because that way my parents wouldn’t miss a second of the baby πŸ™‚ Also when my husband and I are working it’s great because we can check the baby at all times. 2. High-definition video And night vision I LOOVEEEE this feature because the NIGHT is the scariest time of the day to watch our baby. We needed something to watch our baby while everyone is sleeping. In the video, you can see the baby super clear at night. Also in the daytime, the quality of the video is super good! Nanit Plus Baby Monitor 3. Two-way audio channels This feature is so nice, I can talk to my baby and I can also hear what is happening around the baby. So, if my baby is crying and if for some reason I cannot get to her room right away I can talk to her while I reach her. That is the one thing I love about Nanit Plus Baby Monitor 4. Temperature of the Room It also alerts you if the temperature of the room changes, which is a GAME CHANGER because this is essential for a good baby’s sleep. 5. Sleep Tracker What this camera does, is that it has smart sensors that read the baby’s breathing and send you notifications of when the baby falls asleep and also makes an analysis and sends you a report suggesting hours in which it would be more effective to put your baby asleep. This is a super plus of Nanit Plus Baby Monitor 6. Breathing monitor The camera brings a band and a swaddle that is like a pajama (it is not at all uncomfortable at all for the baby). They are not connected to anything electrical, they only have smart sensors that send you real-time notifications of the baby’s breathing, which for me is like one of the most important things to know 7. Pricing The price is a little high. That is why they say it is the Tesla of monitors. But if you are recursive, there are thousands of discounts online that can help you lower the price. (Later I will make a video and a post about the best tricks and how to find discounts when you are expecting a baby) This full package that we bought is worth $380. We waited until Black Friday and had a 20% discount. Plus a 15% discount that Amazon gave us. We ended up buying it for $ 270 !!! More than $ 100 off a product like these. For us, these were the main characteristics that helped us make the decision to buy Nanit Plus Baby Monitor. With this, I am not saying that it is a magic product and that it will change my life as a mother, but I think it can improve it a little. Installation The installation of Nanit Plus Baby Monitor is super easy! The Box comes with all the specifications and step-by-step process. Don’t worry you won’t need a Handyman for this! You got it.

Having a good product that you can trust and can help you check your baby at all times is SO important and that’s when we found NANIT BABY MONITOR.

This product has several features and benefits that allowed us to decide to buy it.

FULL REVIEW OF THE Nanit Plus Smart Baby Monitor

What is NANIT?

According to their website, Nanit is “The only baby monitor you’ll need. Nanit puts your baby’s development first, with sleep analysis, personalized tips, & immediate alerts – all while giving you the best view of your baby.

It combines the latest technology to become the world’s smartest baby monitor. it keeps you in tune with your baby’s well-being, including sleep, breathing motion, and growth, while saving every milestone along the way.

One of the most important reasons is that it was awarded as one of the best cameras of 2019 among all monitor babies

I have spent over a year with this monitor and I consider it the Best Baby Monitor. No need to compare it to others. It was love at first sight. Let’s see why:

1. Accessibility

You know that I live in Boston and my whole family lives in Colombia, so I wanted this product to have an app, that allows us to see the baby from anywhere in the world. This device allows you to access up to 10 cell phones to see the baby. Which I think is great because that way my parents wouldn’t miss a second of the baby πŸ™‚ Also when my husband and I are working it’s great because we can check the baby at all times.

2. High-definition video And night vision

I LOOVEEEE this feature because the NIGHT is the scariest time of the day to watch our baby. We needed something to watch our baby while everyone is sleeping. In the video, you can see the baby super clear at night.
Also in the daytime, the quality of the video is super good! Nanit Plus Baby Monitor

3. Two-way audio channels

This feature is so nice, I can talk to my baby and I can also hear what is happening around the baby. So, if my baby is crying and if for some reason I cannot get to her room right away I can talk to her while I reach her. That is the one thing I love about Nanit Plus Baby Monitor

4. Temperature of the Room

It also alerts you if the temperature of the room changes, which is a GAME CHANGER because this is essential for a good baby’s sleep.

5. Sleep Tracker

What this camera does, is that it has smart sensors that read the baby’s breathing and send you notifications of when the baby falls asleep and also makes an analysis and sends you a report suggesting hours in which it would be more effective to put your baby asleep. This is a super plus of Nanit Plus Baby Monitor

6. Breathing monitor

The camera brings a band and a swaddle that is like a pajama (it is not at all uncomfortable at all for the baby). They are not connected to anything electrical, they only have smart sensors that send you real-time notifications of the baby’s breathing, which for me is like one of the most important things to know

7. Pricing

The price is a little high. That is why they say it is the Tesla of monitors. But if you are recursive, there are thousands of discounts online that can help you lower the price. (Later I will make a video and a post about the best tricks and how to find discounts when you are expecting a baby)

This full package that we bought is worth $380.

Installation

The installation of Nanit Plus Baby Monitor is super easy! The Box comes with all the specifications and step-by-step process. Don’t worry you won’t need a Handyman for this! You got it.
